Interior Design
in Wasaga Beach
Rêve Interior Design Studio has spent over 30 years helping homeowners plan and finish spaces that work for how they actually live, and we work with homeowners in Wasaga Beach from our studio and showroom in Midland, about a 35-minute drive away. We combine design expertise with a curated selection of flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, and fixtures, so clients get guidance and product selection in one place instead of piecing a project together on their own.
Wasaga Beach has grown quickly over the past several years, and that growth shows up in the kind of design work we’re asked to do here: new-build homes, kitchen and bathroom renovations in older cottages being converted to year-round living, and downsizing projects for homeowners settling into the area full-time. Our approach starts with a conversation about your property and your plans, then we bring in the right level of design support for the project.

Interior Design for a Growing Beach Town
A lot of properties in Wasaga Beach started as seasonal cottages and are now being lived in year-round, which changes what the space needs to do. A layout built for summer weekends doesn’t always hold up to daily life, so we look closely at how a kitchen, bathroom, or living space actually functions before recommending changes. For homeowners building new, we bring the same design process to the table from the start, so cabinetry, flooring, countertops, and fixtures are planned together rather than chosen room by room as the build progresses.
Being close to the water also affects material decisions. Sun exposure, sand, and higher humidity all factor into how we recommend flooring and countertop materials, especially in homes that see a lot of beach traffic through the summer months.
Design still matters here as much as function. Whether you’re renovating a cottage into a full-time home or planning a new build from the ground up, we help the finished space feel intentional and cohesive rather than assembled piece by piece.
How We Work With You
Every project starts with a conversation about your space, your timeline, and how involved you want to be in the details. From there, we recommend one of a few ways to work together:
The mood board
Design component curation—from $500
À la carte design
The technical drawings you need
The Rêve Design Package
White glove service with 3D renderings
Other design services
From furniture layout to in-home consultations
The Mood Board From $500
If you’re not overhauling a space, just updating a vanity, refreshing a kitchen, or picking new furnishings, we’ll put together a curated set of selections based on a conversation about your vision. A practical, lower-cost way to get a designer’s eye on your project.
À la carte design $900 per room
For homeowners or contractors tackling one room at a time. We handle the technical side: on-site consultation and measurement, 2D CAD layouts with basic colour renderings, and up to two hours of finish and fixture selection covering flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, and lighting.
The Rêve Design Package From $2,500
Our full-service option for new builds and whole-property renovations. This six-step process includes a laminated design booklet with 3D renders, a full construction package with CAD drawings and elevations, and an as-built layout with cost estimates, all stored in a client portal so you can track progress from your first consultation through final install.
A Second Opinion
Some projects just need a second opinion. We offer in-home consultations, furniture layout support, and help narrowing down materials and finishes for clients who’ve mostly figured out their vision but want a professional to confirm the final decisions.
Meet the Team Behind the Process
Designers Jamie Schaack and Emily Reddick lead every project at our studio. You won’t get a sales pitch on the first call. Instead, they’ll ask about how you use the space, what’s not working, and what the project actually needs before recommending a service level. Some clients arrive with a clear vision. Others need help putting words to what they want. Both conversations end the same way: with a clear next step.

FAQ
ask us anything
Do you design for cottages being converted into year-round homes?
Yes. This is a common project for us in Wasaga Beach. We look at how the layout, flooring, and fixtures need to change to support daily use rather than just seasonal weekends.
Can you help plan a new build from the ground up?
Yes. For new builds, we work through cabinetry, flooring, countertops, and fixtures as part of one coordinated plan, alongside CAD drawings and 3D renderings, so the finishes come together instead of being decided room by room.
Is Wasaga Beach within your service area?
Yes. We regularly work with homeowners in Wasaga Beach from our Midland studio, about a 35-minute drive away.
Can you help with just one room instead of a full renovation?
Yes. Our À la carte service is built for exactly that, one room at a time, without needing to commit to a full-property process.
