Countertops
Like cabinetry, countertops anchor your design. They shape the way a kitchen or bathroom feels. The Rêve team will help you make a choice that balances beauty, durability, and practicality.

Finding Your Perfect Material
With access to the full range of materials—from engineered quartz to marble, granite, other natural stone, wood and laminate—we guide you to a choice that simply makes great sense for you.
Each countertop surface has its own set of strengths, aesthetics, and costs. Our role is to help you see each clearly and choose the right fit for how you live and what you love. Whether you’re aiming for clean and minimal, or rich with natural texture, we bring clarity to the selection process. The surface you’ll land on will feel exactly right.
Quartz
Quartz is a manufactured stone that’s engineered for performance. It’s non-porous, highly durable, and available in nearly every finish imaginable—from soft-toned whites to black with mica sparkles, to dramatic marbled patterns. We often recommend quartz because it offers a balance of beauty, consistency, and low maintenance. It resists stains and handles daily wear. We carry many leading brands including Cambria, Silestone, and HanStone.
Granite and Quartzite
If you want your countertop to make a statement, nothing beats the raw beauty of natural stone. Since granite and quartzite are quarried and sliced, every slab is unique. Choosing a granite or quartzite countertop is a very personal choice, so we take clients direct to the warehouse to handpick their slabs, especially for large islands or waterfall edges. Quartzite, with its marble-like glow and exceptional hardness, is a standout for clients who want a surface that performs as beautifully as it looks.
Marble
Laminate
Laminate isn’t what it used to be—and that’s a good thing. Modern laminates mimic wood, concrete and even stone, with textures that feel far more premium than their prices suggest. While we rarely specify laminate in principal kitchens, it’s a savvy pick for spaces like laundry rooms, basements or rental suites. When you’re balancing a whole-home budget, choosing laminate for a secondary space can free up funds for a quartz or stone slab where it matters more.
Sustainability
We partner with suppliers who prioritize North American materials and responsible practices. Our fabricators keep remnants from past projects, which we often repurpose into vanities, bars or custom features. We’re also piloting a Rêve-exclusive line of vanities made from leftover slab and panel stock—a small but meaningful step toward more sustainable builds. Like choosing a car, picking a quartz brand is as much about design language as it is about specs.
Our Process
Countertop selection starts with a conversation. What’s your style? How do you use the space? From there, we show you samples, walk you through pricing tiers, and coordinate everything from slab sourcing to final install.
Along the way, we’ll discuss the pros and cons of each. For example, quartz resists stains but doesn’t love direct heat. Granite is tougher, but needs sealing. Quartzite is excellent across the board, but it comes at a premium. What’s ‘best’ for you is a personal decision—and context is everything.
For natural stone, we set up visits to partner warehouses so you can see the real material in real light. The goal is a countertop that fits seamlessly into your life—and elevates your space.
